On Monday, a record-high 328 aid trucks entered Gaza through the Rafah and Karm Abu Salem border crossings since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

In a statement issued by an Israeli government official, it said: "The humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to Gaza. This is the highest number of aid trucks transferred to Gaza in one day since the beginning of the war."

After a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden regarding the death of seven aid workers and discussions in Israel's cabinet, Israel is gearing up to provide a substantial amount of aid to Gaza before Eid al-Fitr and the end of Ramadan.

It is anticipated that Israel will open a new crossing near the Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip in the coming days. This move will enable a greater flow of humanitarian aid trucks into the region.
