Three Palestinians, including two women, were killed and several others injured on Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The attack comes amidst a prolonged campaign of violence that has plagued the besieged strip for over 14 months.
According to Palestinian medical sources cited by the official Palestinian news agency *WAFA*, Israeli warplanes struck a house in the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Younis. Earlier, Israeli forces had bombed an agricultural field in the Abu Rida neighborhood of Khuza’a.
The Israeli military has called for residents of designated areas in Al-Bureij refugee camp, central Gaza, to evacuate specific blocks, including 2220, 2221, 2222, and 2223.
Since the onset of the Israeli military offensive on October 7, 2023, Gaza has endured relentless bombardment from air, land, and sea. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of 45,059 Palestinians and injuries to 107,041 others. Thousands remain trapped under rubble as search efforts continue.
