Egypt's national seismological network announced on Thursday that a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit Egypt.
The earthquake's epicenter occurred east of Cairo, 13 km southeast of the administrative capital.
The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics stated that it did not receive earthquake notifications from the citizens.
