On Friday, three people reportedly tragically died in a small plane crash near Boca Raton Airport in Florida, according to local media reports.
Investigations are still conducted, so there is no official confirmation on the number of casualties.
The plane collided with a car and pushed it onto railway tracks, according to Boca Raton Fire Rescue told local media.
Emergency personnel responded to reports of a crash of a small jet on the railroad tracks.
The plane was scheduled to depart from the airport at 10 am local time and arrive in Tallahassee, north of the state, at 1.02 pm.
Flightradar24's air traffic indicated that the aircraft circled above Boca Raton for 20 minutes. It attempted to return to the airport, before crashing around 10.20 am.
Lt Karl Richards reiterated to local media that the plane had crashed into a car and forced it onto nearby railway tracks.
Mechanical issues were reportedly reported by the aircraft around 10.17am.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a statement, saying: "A Cessna 310 crashed around 10:20 a.m. local time on Friday, April 11, after departing from Boca Raton Airport in Florida.
"Three people were on board. The plane was headed to Tallahassee International Airport.
"The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate.
"The NTSB will lead the investigation and provide any updates."
