Israeli airstrikes on Saturday killed three people and injured seven others in southern Lebanon, according to local media reports.
The Israeli army claimed it had targeted two Hezbollah members during the attacks.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that the first strike hit a vehicle near Salah Ghandour Hospital in the city of Bint Jbeil, wounding seven people.
A second-strike targeted Wadi Jannam near Shebaa, between the Marjayoun and Rachaya districts, killing three people. A third strike hit the town of Baraachit in the Bint Jbeil district, though casualties from that attack have not yet been confirmed.
Despite a US-brokered ceasefire reached in November 2024, Israeli forces continue to conduct daily air raids across southern Lebanon, citing strikes on Hezbollah positions. The Israeli army also maintains control of five sites within the border area.
In a statement on Saturday, the Israeli military claimed it had struck two individuals allegedly involved in smuggling weapons to Hezbollah near the town of Shebaa in southeastern Lebanon.
