A helicopter crash near Parma, Northern Italy, has left three people dead, including a well-known business executive.
Among the victims was Lorenzo Rovagnati, the general manager of Rovagnati, a major Italian charcuterie company.
The accident occurred on family-owned land, with reports of dense fog in the area at the time of the crash.
Local media outlets ANSA and La Stampa confirmed the deaths, though the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Rovagnati managed the company alongside his brother Ferruccio.
Rovagnati is a leading name in Italian cured meats, employing over 1,000 people worldwide, with operations in Belgium, France, Germany, and the United States.
