Three individuals have been confirmed dead following a coal mine accident in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, northern China, as reported by local authorities on Monday.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the incident occurred at midnight on July 7th when a water inrush flooded a coal mine in Qingxu County.
At the time, it was reported that three miners were trapped inside the mine.
The Shanxi provincial publicity department announced that by 6:10 PM on Sunday, the remains of the three miners had been recovered.
