A devastating fire broke out in a residential building in the suburb of "Seine-Saint-Denis," on the outskirts of Paris, claiming the lives of three people and leaving eight others injured, including a critically injured child, local authorities reported on Saturday.
The fire erupted on the ground floor of a residential building in the town of "Stains" at around 2:00 AM, according to a statement released by the authorities.
Faced with the scale of the blaze, a significant security and firefighting operation was deployed at the scene, involving 24 vehicles and 88 firefighters.
During the intervention, one firefighter sustained minor burns.
The public prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
