Three people have died after torrential rain triggered severe flooding in Fushun, a city in China's northeastern Liaoning province, according to local authorities.
Heavy rainfall battered the city between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., with precipitation reaching a peak of 329.2 millimeters.
Authorities evacuated 3,596 residents to safer areas as emergency teams intensified rescue operations and disaster relief efforts in the flood-hit region.
