A drone attack sparked multiple explosions near Abu Dhabi airport on Monday, killing at least three people and wounding six others.

The dead were one Pakistani and two Indians, the UAE’s official news agency WAM confirmed.

“Initial investigations found parts of a small plane that could possibly be a drone at both sites that could have caused the explosion and the fire,” Abu Dhabi police said, affirming that there was no significant damage.
