3 Killed, 5 Injured in Würzburg's Knife Attack

Three people were killed, and five others were injured in a knife attack that took place in Würzburg, Germany, authorities reported on Friday.

Police asserted that there are no threats against the city's residents now, however, the city's downtown is still closed.

Moreover, there is a huge activity for police cars and ambulances in the whole streets of the city.

According to the German authorities, the criminal was arrested after police officers shot his legs, adding, that there are no indicators for the presence of a second attacker.

The criminal was a Somali 24-year-old-man. Police underscored that he was violent and mentally unstable, in addition, "he recently received psychiatric treatment," according to the BBC.
