At least three people were killed and 17 others remain missing in Philippines after a nine-storey building under construction collapsed near the capital Manila.
Philippine authorities said most of the missing were construction workers who had been sleeping at the site when the building collapsed early Sunday.
Rescue teams managed to pull 24 survivors from the rubble, while two additional people were rescued from a nearby apartment hotel damaged by the collapse.
Officials have launched an investigation, though the cause of the disaster has not yet been determined.
