3 French Tourists Killed After Boat Capsizes in Oman

Omani police have confirmed that three people have died after a boat capsized while carrying a group of 25 French tourists. 

The incident also left two other passengers with minor injuries.

The Royal Oman Police said the boat was carrying 25 French tourists, along with a tour guide and the boat captain, when it overturned. Initial reports indicate that the three fatalities were among the passengers.

Emergency medical teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority responded to the scene and provided immediate assistance. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.

No further details about the cause of the capsize have been released, and authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of the victims.
