* Greasy Hair Mask
Mix 1 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with 2 tablespoons of honey and ½ a teaspoon of lemon juice. Let it sit in your damp hair for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. You can shampoo after, though you don’t need to.
Honey is a natural antibacterial while lemon juice is a natural astringent and aloe is a lightweight hydrator. Making this mask great for oily and greasy hair.
* Dry Hair Mask
Mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoon of melted coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of honey. Work the mixture through your roots before moving to your ends and leave it on for 30 minutes before shampooing.
Apple cider vinegar dissolves the product build up, soothes the itchiness and balances your scalp’s pH. And mixing that with the soothing honey and the moisturizing coconut oil, it makes a great treatment for itchy and dry hair.
* Damaged Hair Mask
Add ¾ cup of shea butter to ¾ cup of coconut oil and ½ cup of olive oil. Place the mixture over low heat and stir until fully melted. When the mixture is room temperature, rake it through your hair and let it sit for an hour before shampooing and conditioning your hair to get the excess oils out.
Shea butter has anti-inflammatory properties while coconut oil is a natural moisturizer and olive oil reduces damage and breakage making your hair smooth and healthy.
