At least 28 people were killed and several others injured after a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in northern Ethiopia, according to local authorities.
The bus was traveling from Dessie in the Amhara region to the capital, Addis Ababa, when it veered off the road and fell into a valley approximately 100 meters deep.
Authorities confirmed 28 fatalities and reported multiple injuries ranging from minor to severe, though the exact number of injured passengers was not disclosed.
The total number of people on board the bus remains unknown as officials continue to investigate the cause of the deadly crash.
