At least 28 people were injured after a double-decker passenger bus overturned on a highway in Thailand while travelling to Bangkok, according to local media reports.
The accident occurred at around 3:36 a.m. on the Phetkasem Highway, approximately 129 kilometers from Bangkok. The bus was carrying 31 people, including the driver and an assistant.
Authorities said 23 passengers suffered minor injuries, while five sustained moderate injuries. Three others escaped unharmed, and no fatalities were reported.
All injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials have not disclosed whether any foreign nationals were among those injured.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
