At least 52 people have been killed by heavy rains and landslides across Nepal in two days, Khabarhub reported.
The newspaper explained that "the death toll from monsoon-related disasters in Nepal has risen to 52, as heavy rainfall over the past two days has caused floods, landslides, lightning strikes, and road accidents in several areas."
The mountainous district of Kochi, located at the foothills of Mount Everest and also at the epicenter of the storm, was the hardest hit by the disaster.
