CAIRO, Nov. 28 (SEE) – Badr University in Cairo (BUC) and Al-Azhar University Specialist Hospital invited a Korean surgical team, headed by Prof. Pill-Hoon Choung, from November 25 to 29.
The team, in collaboration with Egyptian surgeons, is set to carry out 60 cleft lip and throat repair surgeries for 60 children for free in cooperation with Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine Al-Azhar University.
Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qala, Vice president of BUC, said that the Korean group would give lectures on the latest methods in such kinds of surgeries in addition to live broadcast of their operations to be displayed for students of the two universities.
