CAIRO, Feb.21 (SEE) - European Union Ambassador to Egypt Ivan Surkos stresses that European countries are interested in enhancing relations with Arab League of States (LAS).
Surkos revealed that 24 presidents and prime ministers out of 28 EU member states will attend the Arab-European Summit, scheduled to take place next week in Sharm El-Sheikh resort city.
The Arab-EU summit will bring together for the first time heads of state or government from both sides. EU Council President Donald Tusk will co-chair the summit with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The leaders will address a wide range of issues and common challenges, such as multilateralism, trade and investment, migration, security and the situation in the region.
