CAIRO, Oct. 31 (SEE)- The Ministry of Civil Aviation said on Wednesday that the first direct flight from Poland to the Egyptian city of Taba arrived after a four-year suspension of flights.

The Ministry said the aircraft was received with a water salute to celebrate the arrival of the new line at the airport.

Orascom Development Egypt revealed last September that Taba Heights, a subsidiary of the company, signed an agreement with a Polish tourism company to facilitate two flights a week to Taba International Airport.

Orascom explained that its subsidiary agreed with the Polish company "Itaka" to facilitate the flights every Wednesday "back and forth" to Taba airport.
