The Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasts that Saturday, February 14, 2026, will begin with cool weather in the early morning, turning warm to hot during the day across most areas, and slightly cool at night.
Dust is expected to be suspended over regions from northern Egypt to Upper Egypt, including central Sinai and open areas of Greater Cairo.
Low clouds may appear over northern areas extending to Greater Cairo and Canal cities, possibly producing light drizzle in some places, though with minimal impact.
The weather will cause rough navigation conditions on the Mediterranean Sea along certain coasts including El Sallum, Matrouh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh, Damietta, Port Said, El Arish, and Rafah. Winds will blow at 40–50 km/h, with waves reaching 2.5–3.5 meters in height.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 25°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 22°C in Marsa Matruh, 27°C in Sohag, 30°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions against dust and strong winds, especially for outdoor activities and maritime travel.
