CAIRO, Mar .30. (SEE)- 2020 Hyundai Sonata is similar to an Audi A5 Sportback, the taillights look like a blend of Honda Civic hatchback and modern Lincoln design elements.
The new version have changes with the new Sonata, which allows the car to be locked, unlocked and driven using only a phone the feature is controlled through a Hyundai specific app and uses the phone's near-field communication ''NFC'' for a secure connection to the vehicle.
The app allows the owner to grant temporary or permanent access to other drivers and also enables partial access. Sonata's model includeing three radar sensors, five cameras and 13 ultrasonic sensors enable lots of active safety features.
Also,forward-collision braking, lane-following assist it will keep tracking the car ahead even if it loses sight of the lane lines, plus available rear collision braking, a blind-spot view feature that shows a video feed in the digital gauge cluster looking back from the respective outside rearview mirror when the turn signal is activated.
Sonata Hybrid also features a different design than the regular model as far as the front end is concerned. The radiator grille is considerably smaller and has horizontal chrome bars and the bumper has fewer air openings and a smaller air intake beneath the network.
Hyundai is not ready to release performance numbers for the Sonata 1.6 Turbo model, but we expect to hear more about the car at the upcoming New York Auto Show on April.
