Two members of Kuwait’s emergency medical services were injured after shrapnel struck an ambulance center, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced.
Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said the paramedics were inside the facility when fragments fell on the site, causing injuries.
Emergency teams responded immediately to the incident, providing first aid at the scene before transferring the injured personnel to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Al-Sanad confirmed that both paramedics are in stable condition and are receiving the necessary medical care.
The ministry stated it is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with relevant national authorities as part of a broader emergency response system to ensure the safety of healthcare workers and maintain the uninterrupted delivery of medical services across the country.
