Two people have died after a small aircraft crashed in the municipality of Requena, located in Spain’s Valencia region, according to the Spanish news agency EFE.
The ultra-light aircraft went down on Saturday, prompting an immediate investigation by the Civil Guard to determine the cause of the incident.
While accidents involving light or ultra-light aircraft are relatively rare, they can occur due to factors such as mechanical failure, human error, or adverse weather conditions.
Local authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, and the investigation remains ongoing.
