Two people were killed and four others injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Indiana state, US on Sunday morning, police said
The police said the shooting took place at 2 a.m. in Playo's Nightclub in the city of Gary, Indiana, about 25 miles southern Chicago, and left two dead, a 34-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were found inside, and were declared dead they were transferred to a local hospital, ABC News reported.
Four other people were also wounded, including one who was in critical condition, police said.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims or information about the shooter.
This shooting comes amid a wave of gun violence and mass shootings, one of which occurred last weekend near a nightclub in Tennessee, leaving 3 dead and 14 injured.
