Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, followed up on the repercussions of the collision that occurred between two trains, today, Saturday, in the city of Zagazig, Sharkia Governorate, and assigned his deputy, Dr. Mohamed Al-Tayeb, to go to the scene of the accident.
The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 39 ambulances were dispatched as soon as the accident was reported, and 39 injured people were transferred to hospitals while the accident left 2 dead, in a preliminary toll, and rescue operations are still continuing.
