2 Killed, 19 Injured in Road Accident on El-Qattamia-El-Sokhna

A tragic road accident has resulted in the death of two people and injury to 19 others on the El-Qattamia-El-Sokhna road, Egypt. The victims were quickly transported by ambulance to the Suez General Hospital for emergency medical care while the deceased were taken to the morgue.

The Suez Ambulance Facility received a distress call from motorists, reporting a minibus overturning at kilometer 40 on the El-Qattamia towards El-Sokhna road. Responding immediately, Dr. Mohamed Tantawi, the director of the Suez Ambulance, dispatched 12 ambulances to the scene of the accident.

A force from the Road Security Department also reached the accident site swiftly. Upon initial inspection, it was found that the overturned minibus was carrying 21 people who were on their way to spend a holiday at a tourist village in El-Sokhna. The vehicle, bearing license plate "Q J 9859", overturned in front of a National gas station due to excessive speed, leading to the unfortunate casualties and injuries.

The medical report from Suez General Hospital reveals that their emergency department admitted 19 injured individuals, half of whom are children. Following medical examination, it was found that most victims suffered from limb fractures, bruises, and abrasions.
