Two people were killed and 12 others were wounded in an explosion that hit a checkpoint on the road leading to the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the center of the capital, Kabul, on Monday afternoon.
The Afghan sources said that the explosion occurred when the Foreign Ministry employees left their offices, explaining that it was a suicide bombing, according to the Afghan news agency, Khaama Press.
The non-governmental emergency organization in Kabul reported that 12 wounded people, including a child, were taken to hospital following the explosion near the Foreign Ministry, which has so far killed two people.
