Danish police are investigating two explosions that occurred near the Israeli Embassy in Copenhagen on Wednesday.
According to a statement posted on social media platform X, no injuries were reported, and authorities are conducting a preliminary investigation at the site.
The police noted that they are exploring a possible connection between the explosions and the nearby Israeli Embassy.
This incident follows a series of similar attacks targeting Israeli embassies in Europe. In May, two grenades were thrown at the Israeli Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, though no injuries were reported.
Additionally, the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, has been targeted twice this year. In January 2024, an explosive device was discovered on the embassy grounds, and in May, gunfire was reported near the building—again, with no injuries reported.
The explosions in Copenhagen coincide with rising tensions in the Middle East. Israel recently launched a "limited" ground operation targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
At the same time, Iran has launched hundreds of rockets toward Israel in retaliation for Israeli assassinations, according to reports.
As investigations continue, Danish authorities are closely monitoring the situation, given the history of recent attacks on Israeli diplomatic missions across Europe.
