Two people have been killed and 15 others were injured after a brawl at a large street party resulted in a shooting in Saginaw, Michigan.
According to the security authorities' statement on Saturday, police nearby were preparing to disperse the crowd, when several 911 callers reported that some people were shooting around 12:00 a.m. on June 24.
The statement explained that the fight that broke out between the party participants resulted in shots being fired.
In response, others in the crowd started shooting and assaulting many victims. While people were fleeing the scene, many were injured as they were hit by runaway cars, according to the statement.
The police mentioned that at least 5 weapons of different calibers were used, and no suspects have been detained.
Fifteen people were shot or hit by a car. Two victims, a 19-year-old man, and a 51-year-old woman, died.
