The first plane with tourists from Russia, stuck in the Egyptian Hurghada, landed in Moscow. About 350 people were on board.
According to RIA Novosti, the flight was operated by the Red Wings airline instead ofiFly, which did not receive permission to fly.
Recall that since December 15, iFly has canceled or rescheduled all its flights to Egypt due to restrictions for Russian carriers to fly in Jordanian airspace. The company tried to coordinate an alternative route through Syria with the Federal Air Transport Agency, but the authorities considered it unsafe.
Before that, it was reported that over a thousand tourists (all of them Tez Tour clients) were stuck in Vnukovo. They were supposed to fly to Egypt, but on December 10, a request was received from the Jordanian aviation authorities to provide an insurance certificate issued in London
