On Tuesday, Egyptian and Qatari delegations met for the first time since the announcement of the resolution ending the Gulf dispute, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.
The two delegations from Qatar and Egypt met in Kuwait “to develop mechanisms and procedures for the future phase.
Both sides welcomed measures taken by Egypt and Qatar after signing the Al Ula agreement as a cornerstone for renewing trust between both countries.
Moreover, the possible methods and necessary procedures for enhancing the bilateral ties between Egypt and Qatar were discussed through the meeting.
The delegations reviewed also the means needed to achieve the hopes of their countries' peoples of security and development.
Finally, the Egyptian and Qatari delegations praised the KSA for hosting the 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit that finalized by issuing the Al Ula agreement for Arab reconciliation with Qatar, and thanked Kuwait and its leader Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his efforts for enhancing cooperation between Arab countries.
