El Minya governorate, Upper Egypt, received on Friday the first tourist group coming from Brazil since the resumption of tourism in Egypt on July 1.
Members of the Egyptian Tourism Authority's office welcomed the Brazilian group, the Tourism and Amtiquities Ministry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Eman Mahmoud, the head of the domestic tourism sector at the authority, pointed out that all anti-coronavirus measures had been taken since the tourists' arrival.
The Brazilian delegation will tour the archaeological sites of Tall al-Amarna and Bani Hassan. They are set to visit Cairo, Luxor, and Abu Simbel.
