Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday, under heavy security protection from the occupation police and their armed special forces.
According to Sanad News Agency, 79 settlers and 95 Jewish students stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards this morning through the Mughrabi Gate, which has been under Israeli control since 1967.
The settlers entered the Al-Aqsa courtyards in successive groups and received explanations about the "alleged Temple," while performing Talmudic prayers and rituals before exiting through the Chain Gate.
Settler groups storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards daily, except for Fridays and Saturdays, in two shifts: a morning shift from 7:00 to 11:30 AM and an afternoon shift after the noon prayer, lasting for an hour and a half.
Settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque continue, in light of the policy of emptying the mosque of worshippers and those stationed there, through the issuance of dozens of deportation orders targeting Jerusalemites and Palestinians from within the occupied territories.
