Seventeen people, including three minors, sustained injuries on Friday when a car plowed into pedestrians in a walkway in the city of Szczecin, located in northwest Poland.
Officials confirmed the incident was not terror-related.
The regional governor, Adam Rudawski, addressed the media, stating, "Currently, we have 17 injured, among them three minors, with two in critical condition."
He added that the individual responsible for the accident has been apprehended, without providing further details.
