The 167th humanitarian aid convoy has commenced its entry to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, passing through the secondary gate of the Rafah Land Port toward the Kerem Shalom crossing in preparation for its delivery into the Strip.

An official source stated that the trucks, part of the "Zad Al-Izza from Egypt to Gaza" convoy, are carrying vast quantities of food and relief supplies. These include food baskets, flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned goods, medicines, personal care items, tents, and petroleum products. The source noted that the trucks undergo inspections by the occupation authorities before being allowed into the Strip.

Israeli occupation forces had previously closed the crossings connecting to the Gaza Strip on March 2, 2025, following the conclusion of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the failure to reach a deal to solidify the truce.

The occupation breached the truce with intensive aerial bombardment on March 18, 2025, and resumed ground incursions into various areas of the Gaza Strip from which it had previously withdrawn.
