Settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that 152 settlers stormed the mosque's courtyards, raising the Israeli flag and performing provocative Talmudic rituals inside.
The agency added that groups affiliated with the so-called "Temple Mount" movement have issued incitement calls to mobilize settlers to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque and raise the Israeli flag in its courtyards, particularly next Wednesday, under the pretext of what they call "Independence Day."
