15 Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Towns Across Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that at least 15 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting three areas outside of Hezbollah’s traditional strongholds, revising earlier death tolls.

In the village of Maaysrah, north of Beirut, the ministry confirmed "nine dead and 15 injured" following an Israeli airstrike, raising a previous report of five fatalities. The attack hit a civilian area, causing significant casualties and destruction.

Another strike in Deir Bella, near Batroun in northern Lebanon, left two dead and four injured, with unidentified remains also recovered at the site, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

In the town of Barja, located in the Chouf region south of Beirut, four people were killed and 18 others injured, increasing the previously reported 14 wounded. The area suffered heavy damage, further straining the region's emergency services.

In eastern Lebanon, the Tel Chiha hospital sustained "minor material damages" from airstrikes that hit the vicinity of Zahle. Fortunately, no patients or staff were harmed, and the hospital continued its operations uninterrupted
