On Saturday, an Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed at least 14 Palestinians and left others injured, according to Palestinian officials.
The airstrikes targeted the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis, where civilians, including displaced families, were affected.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that five Palestinians were killed and several others injured when Israeli forces struck the Fahd Al-Subah School, a shelter for displaced individuals on Yafa Street in Gaza City. The casualties were transported to Al-Ahmadi Hospital.
Additionally, Palestinian Red Crescent medics confirmed that nine fatalities and numerous injured civilians were transferred to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis after airstrikes hit tents housing displaced people in the city’s southern region.
The escalating violence has raised concerns among international organizations and advocates for humanitarian protection in the Gaza Strip, as civilian facilities and shelters come under fire.
