14 Israeli Soldiers Wounded on Northern Front, Major Killed in Southern Lebanon

Ziv Hospital in Safed has reported receiving 14 soldiers today, wounded in clashes on the northern front with Lebanon. 

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have also confirmed the death of Major (Reserve) Aviram Herif, 42, from Dolev, who was the deputy commander of Battalion 9308, Alon Brigade (228), during a battle in southern Lebanon.

The IDF Radio announced the death of a sergeant from Battalion 508 by a missile strike in Ne'ot Mordechai in the Upper Galilee on Tuesday. The same attack left three reserve soldiers from the same battalion with serious injuries.

Hezbollah and other Lebanese resistance groups continue to launch rockets at Israeli targets in response to ongoing massacres in Gaza and Lebanon. Gaza is now entering the second week of the second year of the Israeli military campaign against the enclave.

The blockade of Gaza's residents by land, sea, and air, which began on October 7, 2023, persists, with Israel intensifying the encirclement of various areas in the sector by deploying additional forces, including the "Givati" Brigade to the 162nd Armored Division, surrounding Jabalia.
