The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 14 people were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to a statement released by the Lebanese news agency, the injuries occurred during an Israeli raid on Nabatieh.
The agency added that an Israeli drone targeted a vegetable loading vehicle in Nabatieh al-Fawqa with a guided missile, resulting in the vehicle's destruction and injuries to four bystanders. Additionally, several vehicles parked on the street caught fire, and the missile explosion resonated loudly across nearby areas.
Later reports indicated that an Israeli drone also struck the vicinity of a rest area on the route from Zawtar to Nabatieh al-Fawqa with a guided missile, though further details were not provided.
Despite the extension of the ceasefire agreement until February 18, Israel continues to breach the ceasefire in Lebanon, with refugees continuing to return to their villages in the southern border regions.
