Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 137 people were killed on the first day of the Russian invasion, according to Al-Arabiya.

Zelensky called on NATO member states to provide defense assistance to repel the Russian attack, saying that Russia must be pushed to the negotiating table, stressing that he is in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, with his people, according to Al-Arabiya .

Zelensky announced a short while ago that the continuation of Russian aggression shows that the sanctions imposed against Moscow are not enough, indicating that Russia will be forced to resume dialogue sooner or later, calling on Russian citizens to demonstrate against the war in Ukraine.

Zelensky added that the Russian strikes are targeting both military and civilian sites, while warning sirens were heard this morning in Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
