On Friday evening, 130,000 Palestinian worshippers performed Isha and Tarawih prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Islamic Endowments Department, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), stated that 130,000 worshippers performed Isha and Tarawih prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the fourteenth day of the holy month of Ramadan.
This is the largest number of worshippers since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
The occupation forces prevented thousands of Palestinians from reaching occupied Jerusalem to perform the second Friday prayer of the holy month through checkpoints deployed at the entrances to the city, in addition to tightening their measures within the city and restricting the movement of worshippers.
