On Friday, Kyrgyzstan’s medical authorities announced that the latest borders clash with its neighbor Tajikistan left 13 killed and 121 injured.
The spokesperson of the Kyrgyzstan Health Ministry that the total number of the injured is 134 including 13 deaths.
He added that 25 cases including two in critical condition were transported to the capital for treatment.
Both states agreed ceasefire after the latest violent border clashes, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday.
The statement said: “As a result of several negotiations between the ministers of foreign affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, agreements were reached on a complete ceasefire from 8:00 pm (1400 GMT) and the withdrawal of military forces.”
Fierce clashes erupted on Wednesday between the armed forces of both countries after both armies exchanged fires over water resources.
