Around 120 settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday morning under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the settlers moved through the mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, which were described as provocative.
On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces detained two women inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem. WAFA, citing local sources, reported that the women were stopped in the courtyards before being taken into custody and transferred to an undisclosed location.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound has seen repeated incursions by Israeli forces and settlers, alongside restrictions on worshippers, as well as reported assaults and ongoing arrests.
