Twelve people were injured in a mass shooting in Chicago after gunmen opened fire from a moving SUV on a crowd gathered in the city's South Side, police said.
Authorities reported that two suspects fired multiple shots from the vehicle before fleeing the scene late Friday night. Two male victims were left in critical condition, while the remaining injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The victims, eight men and four women aged between 17 and 47, suffered varying injuries. Police also said another man was hurt but declined medical treatment.
