Eleven people were injured after a boat exploded in Biscayne Bay near Miami, prompting a major emergency response from US authorities.
Officials from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed that more than 20 rescue units were deployed to the scene following the explosion.
The injured victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, with authorities reporting injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the blast and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The US Coast Guard also joined rescue and emergency operations as authorities continued securing the area.
