About 100,000 people gathered in The Hague on Sunday, calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza and criticizing the Dutch government’s support for Israel.

The protest marked one of the largest pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the Netherlands in the past two decades.

Organized by human rights groups, the march followed a five-kilometer route through the heart of the city.

Protesters formed what they called a symbolic red line, urging the Dutch government to take a stronger stance against Israeli actions in Gaza.

Many demonstrators voiced frustration over what they described as growing humanitarian suffering in Gaza, particularly since March, where reports indicate hundreds of people have died from starvation.

Protesters demanded that Prime Minister Dick Schoof’s administration halt all military and political support for Israel and impose meaningful sanctions.

The demonstration route passed notable landmarks including the Peace Palace, home to the International Court of Justice, and the Dutch Parliament, before returning to the starting point.
