At least ten people were killed and 15 others injured following a series of explosions at a popular market in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, today.
According to eyewitness reports to Reuters, multiple blasts occurred in four different locations within a busy market in Mogadishu, resulting in the death of ten individuals and injuring 15 others, in addition to causing significant damage to numerous shops in the market.
The perpetrators of the bombings have not yet been identified. However, the Al-Shabaab group, affiliated with the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, frequently conducts bombings in Somalia and other areas.
Al-Shabaab terrorists often target civilians, government, and civilian infrastructure in their attacks.
