Zamalek's goalkeeper Mohamed Awaad on Friday has announced that he tested positive for coronavirus.
On his official Twitter page, Awad said that the PCR tests, which he underwent, have proved that he diagnosed with the respiratory disease, but he did not give any further information about that.

On July 2019, Zamalek completed Awaad's transfer from Ismaily in a deal worth up to EGP 35 million, in addition to a swap deal, which included the signing of Ahmed Madbouli, Mahmoud Abdel-Aty Donga to Ismaily.
